my future

I ve decided what profession I want to do in the future.
And its a barber in a foreign country.
It used to be tea shop owner in Madras, but after today, I've decided that I want to be a barber.

Reasons (Pros):
1)All a barber does all day is fool around with hair. And for doing that, he gets huge amounts of money. Today, the barber's cash register showed 145$. From just one person.
And when I went in, the place was crowded with people trying to get haircuts or turn curly hair straight of straight hair curly, or make black hair yellow or yellow hair green and what-not. Infact, I even saw one guy make his hair pink. Which deserves a wtf.
And the joint was owned by one man, the barber. So all the money goes to him only.
2)Need I mention the hot girls who come to a barber for the simplest reasons? Like the girl who came in today because she needed to go to a ball or something. The barber was saying that she had jsut come in yesterday to make her black hair orange. Apparently she didnt like it so she came back in to amke the Black hair that became orange into yellow. Which deserves another wtf. Money earned by barber-100$ per colouring=> 200$ in 2 days.

Cons-
1)Requires huge amounts of patience. One small 9 year old girl was ordering the barber around to fix her hair in some elaborate pattern. 9 year old kid too. Third wtf.
2)The old grandmothers who come there. There was this one old lady who wanted to get her hair cut. Problems: She had no hair and she had just come from surgery. The whole place was stinking of medecine.

Though who cares. The pros>>cons. And the money is worth it too.

Haircut anyone?

LOL! that made me laugh! surprises me how often you're changing professions tsb...seriously, the tea shop wud be much more hygenic and well away from chemicals! thusly, more healthy ;-) But i guess there's more money here! More than biotech? definitely! lol...why dont u quit uni n take barber trainin? better earlier. U'll learn the tricks of the trade!!!

HAHA!!! tsb you crack me up! so was wondering...just how much time do you spend in the barber shop to know all these things??!! ;)

already part time aa??

and side by side apadiye you can serve them vadai sambar as they wait or something!i dont know how hygenic that would be , but you figure it out...

Anu, how cud u miss out on pongal chutney! ;-)

haaaaiiirrrr-cutting!!!!
what ya...no ya...haaaaiiirrr-cutting not goot-job ya..inne ya...
i jus hope u dont get bald ppl coming for hair cutting..else u wud go poor!!...wud u give discounts for indians? mr.patriot?

this future of urs lies in ur hands!!!!

pongal chutney only after tsb starts earning some money, until then he can mix water (or hair oil/lotion) in the sambar and also in the vadai maavu and serve it!!! hahaha

ANU!!! Yuck...hehe! I can just abt imagine that!! lol...tsb, we're givin u some real good suggestions, n the least u can do is reply to these comments! Anu, i think we shud get into the trade...we have better ideas di! ;-)

defenitely! hehe...we can use some biochemical solutions and mix it in or something....(rub hands and laugh evil like...)

gah...you ladies seem very interested in my barber shop and giving ideas on how i should run my barber shop.
now i know girls are very keen on getting haircuts and stuff, but just because your friend owns a barber shop dont expect any discounts and all.
it'll still be the same price for everyone :p

whoz even comin to your shop? Think i'd go all the way to a foreign country to get someone to mes with my hair...? ;-) n...definitely not tsb!

in chennai its 30 rs...in a small shop..n twenty when u sit under the tree n get a hair cut..
do u guys know something...
when i went to varanasi..i hada hair cut for five rupees in a decent shop...only thing was that i was standing!!!lol

STANDING? was the guy who was cuttin your hair standing on a chair/stool?? or was he sooo talll!!

atleast he told me to stand...man..thw worst wud be if he'd tell me to kneel down!!

HAHA, then all the hair would fall on you!!! hehe, so tsb how are you planning to make the customers get their hair cut? sitting, standing, kneeling, do it themself..or what??

there's a word called 'update' in the english dictionary...mind checkin the meaning? ;-)

the last time i checked a dictionary, i broke my little toe.

thusly, i m on a sabbatical from dictionaries for sometime.

and...i m quite busy with learning the nuances of the fine art of haircutting. tahts why there's been no update.

as if you'd beleive that. :p

for the benefit of tsb's laziness... n the state of his pitiable cut toe ;-) according to the oxford dictionary update means 1.make more modern
2.give the latest information to. an act of updating or an updtated version.

now sir, will that do? ;-)

Sheesh! Im not pissing off THESE girls whenever I go to the restaurant theyre cooks in! Looks like the good ol' spit in the coffee thing is evolving!

MR postman? is there?

First...you went to a barber who has $145 services?!? I don't believe it. :P

Secondly, I only see one real problem with your plan - in order for people to give you 100's of dollars to play with their hair, they're going to have to trust that you'll do a good job first...not gonna happen. :)

Ps...will you do my hair for Garba? :)
